Backpack and Beyond is an annual mission and outreach to serve students in our community with backpacks, school supplies, and other community resources.  Our goal this year is to supply over 300 children with a new backpack and the school supplies they need to make the 2024-2025 school year a success!

BACKPACK AND BEYOND COMMUNITY EVENT

AUGUST 3, 10AM TO NOON

The community event, from 10am to noon on Saturday, August 3, will include opportunities to shop for backpacks and pick up school supplies, in addition to connections with community resources. In partnership with Christ Child Society, referrals will be provided for families who need additional assistance. Children who register for Christ Child Society support during the event can receive new coats, shoes, underwear, socks, and school uniforms.

PACKING DAY

JULY 27, 9-10 AM

We're looking for 40 volunteers to help pack the backpacks on Saturday, July 27, from 9 to 10am.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

• Grab a bag before or after worship at Clay Church on a Sunday, or download the supply list, and return a bag filled with school supplies before July 23.

• Sign up to serve to pack bags.

• Sign up to serve for the community event.

• Make a donation at claychurch.com/give.

• Donate new or like-new children's or youth clothing and/or books (not adult clothing).
